Port and Coastal Development
As world trade and globalisation continue to increase, so does pressure on ports and coastal areas. Existing ports have to improve their efficiency and new ports are being developed that are situated in, for example, shallow water areas. This means an enormous pressure on the resources and sensitive ecosystems in the coastal areas.
