Maritime infrastructure
Over the last decade, the search for new renewable energy sources has led to the development of offshore wind power plants. The emergence of these plants means that there is a new “player” on the seas, who needs to cooperate with the traditional players in shipping, fishing and other maritime activities.
SSPA can present an extensive list of references of risk analyses on navigational risks of offshore wind farms for a number of Swedish clients.
Areas of engagement are for example:
- Risk analyses of marine transport
- Safety manuals
- Environmental Impact Assessments
- Environmental investigations and studies
- Integrated Coastal Zone Management
- Environmental economic assessments and estimations
- Coastal processes and sea defence solutions
- Ship-structure interaction
