SSPA - member of Hydro Testing Forum
Hydro Testing Forum (HTF) is an international network of excellence with its representative members from industry and academia to facilitate the leadership of the Hydrodynamic Testing Facilities.
The forum is to sustain the advancement of measurement, observation and analysis technologies for hydrodynamic model testing and to maintain a formal and lasting structure to coordinate the definition and introduction of these technologies amongst the members.

Noise measurements of a cavitating propeller in different facilities, new paper
To better understand the accuracy and reliability of underwater radiated noise measurements, a test programme to compare results among several institutes was organized by the Hydro Testing Forum, where SSPA is a partner. The well-known journal Ocean Engineering has published a new paper in the October issue.
Hydro Testing Forum meeting
On April 19-20, the 7th Hydro Testing Forum meeting were held at SSPA. The network has members of recognised hydrodynamic research organisations worldwide. The objective is to discuss in small expert groups and improve learning and achieve good practices.
