Motorways of the Sea Conference

Friday, October 31, 2014 - 15:13

Registration and agenda for the Motorways of the Sea Conference "Sustainable Shipping for Reduction of Emissions"

On behalf of Brian Simpson, the European Coordinator for Motorways of the Sea (MoS), I would like to invite you to the forthcoming MoS Conference on "Sustainable Shipping for Reduction of Emissions". The Conference will take place in Gothenburg, Sweden, on the 18-19 of November. Opens at 08.30 day 01 and ends at 16.00 day 02.

Under the global objective of making transport at sea a truly environmentally and energy efficient mode whilst meeting international obligations, we'll be listening to Industry projects co-funded via MoS under TEN-T. It is expected that our stakeholders share with us their experiences and prospective views so that the EH framework for Motorways of the Sea can be upgraded and continuously is able to meet the needs of the maritime transport sector.

Finally, the possibilities offered by the new Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) and the on-going Call for proposals will be addressed. When addressing the issue of the reduction of emissions. All possible solutions e.g. LNG, Methanol and Scrubber, will be discussed.

To participate, please register via the link www.zerovisiontool.com/gotmos no later than 9 November. You will find a list of recommended hotels, which offer a Conference discount, at the website mentioned above.

We look forward to your participation, welcome.

On behalf of Brian Simpson
Jose Anselmo TEN-T / DG Move
